Who LynxSprint is for
And, just as importantly, who it is not for.
The organizations we are building for
Professional-services and product organizations of roughly 20 to 2,000 people, where labour is the main cost and billable or capitalizable time matters:
- Software consultancies and digital agencies
- IT managed-service providers
- Engineering and architecture practices
- Internal product and platform teams reporting capitalized time
The people who will use it
-
Employee
Log time accurately with as little friction as possible, and know what is assigned to me.
What good looks like: A timer that starts in one click, and a week submitted in under two minutes.
-
Team lead or manager
Know my team's load, and approve time quickly and fairly.
What good looks like: A week for eight reports approved in one screen, and a clear view of who is under or over.
-
HR administrator
Onboard, offboard and maintain the org structure.
What good looks like: Invite to onboarded employee, with the right role, team and schedule, in minutes.
-
Finance or billing
Compute billable value and project profitability.
What good looks like: Approved, locked time data. Never draft data.
Who it is not for
Employers looking for covert monitoring
We say this plainly because it is the part of the market we most want to repel. LynxSprint will not capture screenshots, log keystrokes, watch which applications or websites someone uses, track location, or derive a productivity score from activity telemetry. If the value of a feature depends on the employee not knowing it exists, we will not build it.
Every employee can see and export their own data. That is a design constraint, not a setting an administrator can switch off. The privacy stance sets it out in full.
Also not the target
- Single-person freelancer time tracking. You would be paying for a tenant model you do not need.
- Payroll processing, statutory filings and benefits administration.
